Windows Platform

Windows Platform - Operating System Software

When customers choose the Application Hosting service using a Windows platform, operating system software procurement, installation, provisioning, and maintenance by the DTS are included as a basic component of the standard service. This includes operating system software licensing, operating system upgrades, operating system patches, and vendor contract administration.

The DTS Application Hosting service on a Windows platform uses the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system software.

When customers choose the Application Hosting service using a Windows platform, procurement, installation, provisioning, and maintenance by the DTS of software tools are included as a basic component of the standard service.

The Windows platform software tools that are included in the standard Application Hosting service are:
* Five Customer Access Licenses (CALs)
* Diskeeper for W2K
* Trend Antivirus
* BMC Patrol Agent

The software tools used by the DTS for Windows platform monitoring and management include CA Unicenter, Big Brother, HP Insight Manager, Microsoft Operations Management, OpenManage, and NetIQ AppManager.
