The Department of Technology Services presents the following questions and responses to help the Service Catalog users/customers learn how to use the Service Catalog to evaluate, select and utilize DTS services and products.
QUESTION:
What is the COEMS Physical Access Policy?
RESPONSE:
The following is a summary of the policy for customer access to COEMS equipment.
The detailed DTS access policy is available upon request from the customer to the Service Desk
and will be incorporated into the IAA before the COEMS service is implemented.
- Customers must contact the DTS Service Desk to request access to their equipment.
- Only authorized officials may request an after hour emergency access authorization for non-authorized personnel. All requests must be made to the DTS Service Desk.
- To ensure that the DTS has the most current Authorization List, customers must immediately notify the DTS of changes to the Authorization List.
- COEMS customers, their contractors and other COEMS personnel are NOT allowed outside of their authorized area for any reason, both within the Computer Room and throughout the building.
