Rates - How we charge for Recovery

• In addition to setting up your DTS consulting requirements, there are 6 parts to review for Recovery
  
  • Part 1: Determine your existing environment.
  • Part 2: Determine your requirements for disk storage.
  • Part 3: Determine your requirements for tape storage.
  • Part 4: Determine your requirements for off-site readiness (e.g. hot site, warm site, cold site).
  • Part 5: Determine your requirements for network access to the off-site location.
  • Part 6: Determine your requirements for network bandwidth to the off-site location.

DTS Consulting

The DTS offers consulting to provide assistance with planning, designing, building, implementing, and supporting our services.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge by the hour for a Staff or a Senior level.
Rate: $115.00 per hour
Cost Description: Certified Level Consulting

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge by the hour for a Staff or a Senior level.
Rate: $90.00 per hour
Cost Description: Staff/Senior Level

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge by the hour for an Associate level.
Rate: $75.00 per hour
Cost Description: Associate Level

Part 1 Environment

The DTS offers disaster recovery for applications currently hosted at the data centers.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge based in part by the quote from the vendor.
Rate: There is no fixed rate because each business need is different. As part of the service, the DTS will prepare a quote that includes the DTS professional services and the contracted vendor costs.
Cost Description: TBD

Part 2 Disk Storage

The DTS offers disk storage so that the DTS and the client can complete failover tests for disaster recovery.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge by the MB.
Rate: $0.07 per MB per month.
Cost Description: Customer DASD

Part 3 Tape Storage

The DTS offers tape storage for disaster recovery.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge by the tape.
Rate: $3.00 per tape per month.
Cost Description: Customer Tape

Part 4 Off-site Readiness

The DTS offers an off-site location for disaster recovery.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge based in part by the quote from the vendor.
Rate: There is no fixed rate because each business need is different. As part of the service, the DTS will prepare a quote that includes the DTS professional services and the contracted vendor costs.

Part 5 Network Access

The DTS offers network access for disaster recovery.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge based in part by the quote from the vendor.
Rate: There is no fixed rate because each business need is different. As part of the service, the DTS will prepare a quote that includes the DTS professional services and the contracted vendor costs.
Cost Description: Point of Presense (POP)Site

Part 6 Network Bandwidth

The DTS offers network bandwidth for disaster recovery.

Rate Unit of Measure: We charge based in part by the quote from the vendor.
Rate: There is no fixed rate because each business need is different. As part of the service, the DTS will prepare a quote that includes the DTS professional services and the contracted vendor costs.
Cost Description: Operational Recovery - CPU Hotsite
