      This section describes the standard components of DTS services that are classified as mainstream. Customers that use custom or non-standard services may not find information about all aspects of their particular service(s) in this version of the catalog. We intend to expand and enhance the Service Catalog through a series of frequent updates that will begin this month. In the interim, if you have questions about our services, please contact Customer Delivery.

      The Training & Event Center maintains a catalog of classes. For specific classes, please refer to the current catalog.

Part 2 LearningPASS Program

    The DTS LearningPASS program makes it easy to procure eLearning (web-based training) and classroom training courses for government employees at a substantial discount. Customers may take courses at locations throughout California or select from thousands of courses via web-based training. The LearningPASS program eliminates the need for time-consulting contract processes.

Part 3 Certificate Program

    The DTS offers certificate programs in various technical areas.

    • Z/OS Programmer

Part 4 Management Training

    The DTS sponsors the Executive Institute, an annual two day symposium providing state IT leaders valuable information on current government business issues and challenges. Managers must be nominated by their department Chief Information Officer prior to applying for this program.

    The Information Technology Managers Academy (ITMA) is an intensive, twelve month program focusing on the developing the skills and knowledge state IT managers need to succeed in the 21st century.

Part 5 Training & Event Center Room Rental

    The DTS rents computer labs, classrooms and conference rooms for:

    • Off-site meetings
    • Department training
    • Special events
